A Tom Collins Inspired Drink with a Twist

Cucumber Collins Gin Cocktail
ingredients
Makes 1 drink
2 oz gin
.5 oz elderflower liqueur
.75 oz simple syrup with honey
.75 oz fresh lemon juice
3 slices of cucumber
basil
extra ribbon of cucumber and lemon for garnish
instructions
Pour your gin, elderflower liqueur, simple syrup and fresh squeezed lemon juice into your shaker.
Drop in your cucumber slices and basil leaves and muddle everything together.
Take a potato peeler to peel a ribbon of cucumber for your drink garnish. Be sure to peel a few for different options or if one breaks. Place your swirl into your glass while keeping it pressed along the edges.
Shake your shaker vigorously with ice. Strain and pour into your glass. Garnish with a lemon slice and enjoy!
